The birefringence measurement system utilizes polarization configuration and phase shifting technology to reconstruct the internal retardation of transparent substrates or optical components.
Technical Description
The birefringence measurement module utilizes a polarization setup and phase-shifting technology to reconstruct the internal phase retardation and birefringence axis angle distribution of transparent substrates or components. The microscopic birefringence measurement module can be applied to stress monitoring in laser-processed glass substrates. This allows for optimization of processing parameters and prevention of crack formation. The large-area birefringence measurement module can be used for residual stress monitoring in plastic lenses, ensuring low birefringence effects of the lens to maintain imaging clarity and accuracy.
